Dr. Yahya Chawla is a seasoned business leader and humanitarian, bringing over three decades of extensive experience in Pakistan's distribution and FMCG sectors. With a medical degree from Sindh Medical College, he combines the analytical discipline of medicine with strategic business insight to drive sustainable growth and diversification.

Since joining the family business in 1988, Dr. Chawla has led Burque Holdings, the parent company of Burque Corporation and its diversified ventures, to become one of Pakistan's foremost business groups. Today, its portfolio spans FMCG distribution, manufacturing, textile embroidery, international retail under the SPAR brand, and acclaimed local and international restaurant ventures under WAH Brands. Soon, he will further expand his footprint into fashion retail, onboarding multiple fashion brands to the group's growing portfolio.

Beyond business, Dr. Chawla plays an active role in advancing healthcare and community welfare. He serves on the boards of leading philanthropic and medical organizations, including The Indus Hospital, The Aga Khan University Hospital Patient's Behbud Society, Prevention of Blindness Trust, and The Health Foundation. Through these roles, he champions accessible, high-quality healthcare for underserved communities across Pakistan.
